Economic Freedom in Joplin, Missouri

This is the story of how increasing - rather than restricting - the freedom for individuals effected by 2011's devastating tornado in Joplin, MO to rebuild their homes and businesses has been a big success for the people in the region. Without government instituting price or wage controls, tightening licensing for buildings and contractors, and with low involvement or control from FEMA, individuals working together voluntarily were able to make a huge difference.
